Hello there, how have you been? :-)
I haven’t blogged and haven’t visited your blogs for a few days, if you noticed. The main reason is I was resting.
Thursday last week my mom was admitted to the hospital for three days due to fever and cough. I stayed with her at the hospital while my dad stayed at home to take care of important matters I wouldn’t be able to deal with if we switched places. On my mom’s second day at the hospital however, I started feeling weak along with colds and throat discomfort. (My dad then texted us and told us that he, too, wasn’t feeling well. The three of us sick = not cool.)
I spent most hours laying on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, at my mom’s room but I couldn’t really rest well at the hospital. Thank God, my mom was finally discharged Saturday night and I finally had a more restful sleep at my bedroom here at home. Sunday, I did nothing but rest along with taking Paracetamol (better known as Acetaminophen in other parts of the world), Ascorbic Acid, and water therapy. Praise God, I am feeling much better today, even if food still tasted a bit like cardboard.
Well, there was a computer with internet connection back at the hospital. But the computer loaded slowly and because I wasn’t feeling well, I didn’t have the patience to wait. Now that I am home and with a faster internet connection, I’ll do my best to catch up with everything I missed.
