We had the opportunity to try out MILK&Co BABY Protect Me+Sunscreen this weekend. The Lil' Tiger, May, M and I met up with our friend Ika over at the Lotterywest Family Area in Kings Park. I was surprised with how big the park is but more on that later.
What I first love about MILK&Co BABY Protect Me+Sunscreen is the bottle it came in. It's not your ordinary round cylindrical bottle, but a cute and funky square bottle. The packaging of the product instantly caught my eye and usually this is enough to get me to try out the product. I am such a sucker for a cute and unusual design.
A little bit about MILK&Co. MILK&Co is founded by Michael Klim (yes the Olympic Swimmer) and his wife. After failing to search for a suitable product for his tough skin (Nana is a swimmer and she does have tough skin ), Michael created his own and called it Milk (which is backwards of KLIM, how convenient).
My first instinct when I receive or about to use something new is to smell it. I have an overly sensitive nose and usually will not buy something if it's too over powering unless I have to like your usual sunscreen. The usual sunscreen that I normally use (trust me I have tried a lot), are usually a pain to get on, the smell is too over powering and when you accidentally rub your lips or mouth area, it tastes BITTER! So back to the smell, MILK&Co BABY's sunscreen uses one of my favorite smell in the whole world, Coco Butter! I was surprise to find a sunscreen that smells like Coco Butter.
MILK&Co BABY goes on really smoothly. It feels nothing like the usual greasiness or gooeyness that you get from normal sunscreen. I was delighted by that, that I even put some on myself just to see what it feels like. It certainly didn't feel like your run of the mill sunscreen. It felt like I was putting on moisturiser.
I have nothing negative to say about MILK&Co BABY Protect Me+ Sunscreen. I am so impressed by this product. From it's packaging to the smell everything is so wonderful and for $22.90 a pop, I think it's a reasonable price to pay when you have a bub that has sensitive skin and is prone to drying out.
MILK&Co BABY Protect Me+ Sunscreen, you get a YEAY! from the Lil' Tiger for being such an awesome product inside and outside.

YEAY

Here are some of our photos of the day.  Weeeeeee.....
