Review of 2014 Word of the Year

Posted on the 30 December 2014 by Lifeofasportswife @jessaolson
A few years ago I discovered having Word of Year over Resolutions. I loved this idea because the year before I think I had probably 15+ resolutions in all different aspects of my life. Seriously, who can remember all those goals. Then I found out about Word of the Year.

In 2013 the word was Choose.

In 2014 the word was Better.
This year I did really good with the word better. The main goal behind was better relationship. This was the year of deciding on old relationships would continue or fade away. I regret to say but some relationship I won't continue in 2015. I feel like I put 100% into them and it wasn't recipociated in any way. I don't want or need that in my life.

In 2015 my word is INTENTIONAL.
I love this word and have actually been using it for a few weeks now. I have been feeling in a rut lately and not really sure where it is stemming from. Gary thinks that I overcommit my time to things and I tend to say yes a little too often. (Which he may or may not be true.)

So before I say yes to anything I am going to be intentional about what I commit myself to this upcoming year. I want to be intentional about my time, money, and energy.

What's your word of 2015?
