Saying Goodbye to Phoenix

Posted on the 13 February 2014 by Lifeofasportswife @jessaolson
As we have been driving across the country, we have talked about almost everything. As we were in West Texas we got to talking about the things that we were going to miss in Phoenix. Phoenix has been "home" to us for a year and half. Phoenix has some great places, and we feel that we left too soon to do everything that we wanted to do. But we couldn't have passed up on this great opportunity in West Virginia.

Part of the reason I started this blog was to be a virtual scrapbook on our lives! Gary and I want to say bye to Phoenix. A city that will always have a place in our hearts.  We are going to miss: I'm going to miss the weather. I LOVED the fact that I could wear flips flops all year around!  Beautiful scenery. Arizona has the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. I swear AZ invents new colors for the coloring box. (The palm trees were nice too.) Sports. It was so nice to have all the major sports around.  Friends. Also bloggers friends who have turned real life friends. Plus the friends we (Gary's friends who have accepted me) knew coming into town.  IKEA.. I'm going to miss one being right down the street. I love that place!!  In AZ I experienced a career change. It was one of the best decisions. I loved the experience with the Coyotes, but think I found what I am suppose to do.

I'm sure that we are missing more things, but that's really all we could think of. Today we are heading to Louisville, Kentucky to meet up with my parents. They have been so nice to take Heisman for a few weeks so we could get settled in.
