Since when did we became a security risk to the government after choosing to break free from a dictatorial head of one of its agencies?

We become a security risk to their own safety, and to the rest of their equally corrupt, deceptive and conniving cohorts and minions.
According to my dear friend Wikipedia, snitches, informers or most popularly known as whistle-blowers, are individuals who tell the public or someone in authority about alleged dishonest or illegal activities (misconduct) occurring in a government department, a public or private organization, or a company. The alleged misconduct may be classified in many ways; for example, a violation of a law, rule, regulation and/or a direct threat to public interest, such as fraud, health/safety violations, and corruption. Whistleblowers may make their allegations internally (for example, to other people within the accused organization) or externally (to regulators, law enforcement agencies, to the media or to groups concerned with the issues).
Whistleblowers frequently face reprisal, sometimes at the hands of the organization or group which they have accused, sometimes from related organizations, and sometimes under law.
Do you still remember the names and faces of those who dared to speak up and change the course of history?
These individuals brought attention to the abuses of government and large corporations. Many of these whistleblowers were fired from their jobs in the process of shining light on their issue of concern.
I salute those who have exposed corruption or any form of malpractice, especially if they were then hindered or abused.
