Inside the box
The game comes with a very cute Shelby Squeezer (tweezers), Double spinner, four bowls and 40 bones. The inside of the box is the "beach" where Shelby has buried her bones and where you have to search. How to play
You first spin to see what action you will be doing whether that is picking up bones from the beach, stealing them from a fellow player, getting them stolen by seagulls swooping in or even missing a go because Shelby is too busy chewing on a flip flop. You then spin the other dial to see how many bones will be played for. The player then adds or removes the correct number of bones to his or her bowl using Shelby.Putting it to the test
This game instantly appealed to Ben, the packaging is child friendly and the contents don't disappoint. Shelby is very cute and definitely encouraged kids to keep playing and wait for their go so they can use her to pick up bones.I love how this game gets kids doing maths in such a fun way that they want to keep doing again and again. Ben was having so much fun adding and subtracting bones, improving his maths skills in an easy and engaging way I was impressed.
