For sure you guys are already aware of the good news! Another shopping site has finally landed in our country. From Korea to the Philippines, Althea is here (heavy breathing)! If it's your first time to hear about Althea or Althea Philippines, it's an online shopping site, a haven for korean beauty products lovers like me. All popular korean brands that we love and most especially those brands that are not available locally that we are eager to get our hands on, they are making them all within our reach without a fuzz! They aim to spread K-beauty to the world!
Fortunately, I was one of the lucky ones who get to shop via their website first so I'm gonna share online shopping tips to you guys! However, some may not be 100% as what they were in the photos here since they have improved the site already.
What's your shopping goal?When you're shopping online, make sure you have a goal so at the end of the day, you're going to analyse whether your satisfaction is met or not, that way you'll know if you'll prefer to shop again using their website. Like for me, shopping at Althea with all these brands that I wanted to try made me go gaga and overwhelmed to the point that I didn't know what to get! So I listed down my priorities:
Get my favourite products at their cheapest prices via Althea. Try popular brands that are not readily available here in the country like IOPE, W. Lab, etc. Check if shipping, delivery, and fees will not be a hassle.
Shopping It's nice to see they have improved the menus. You can now shop via different categories like skincare, makeup, and brands. Each item is displayed with prices, sale price, percentage of discount (if item is discounted). They also have Quick View for faster shopping. Every item has complete information, reference photos, in stock, shades available, price, and directly add to cart.
Upon checking out you can add coupon codes (if available), use your points (if you have enough balance), and see complete breakdown of fees.
Upon submitting your order, this confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Aside from that, you'll also receive this in your registered email address.

I got a shopping credit of P2,000.00 but my total went P2,035.00 and I paid the excess P35.00 via Paypal.
You can pay via Paypal or any major credit cards (MasterCard or Visa). I'm not sure if bank deposit is possible anytime soon since we're dealing with an international shopping site. You can get a cash card through BDO, BPI, or Unionbank then create a paypal account and connect you card to your paypal. Let me know if you want me to do a detailed tutorial on this!

- I used Paypal to pay for my orders.
Any tax or custom fees upon delivery of your order?
- You don't need to pay anything when you get your parcel.
Will it be delivered straight to your house or you have to get it from the post office?
- Direct delivery to your doorsteps so make sure that you put the correct delivery address and don't forget to include your contact number too, just in case you know?
How long does it take for the package to arrive?
- I gave my provincial address to test their length of delivery. As promised, mine arrived on the 8th day after my order was received and processed. For Metro Manila delivery, it'll take shorter for sure.
