Simple Allergic Rhinitis Home Remedies | Home Cures for Excessive Sneezing Every Morning | Hacks, Treatments and Tips

Posted on the 07 October 2019 by Michael David Oyco @MDoyco
If you are sneezing every single morning and you don't like going to the doctor, most probably we are suffering from the same condition which is allergic rhinitis - for the sneezing.. For the not going to the doctor thing, well, we are just the same (lol). Nothing special.
For this post, I'll share some tips on how to treat our allergic rhinitis. Because like you, I was also searching for answers on what may have been causing this and was constantly trying to figure out what can solve or at the least make this condition of ours a little bit better. Suffering from it every single day - every morning is not that easy to handle really..

So, how many rolls of tissue have you already spent? I guess a lot. There was a time I nearly used a whole roll for just a single morning. How costly too right?! Well, I have known people.. wealthy people who also have them and got medical prescriptions temporarily treating the allergy. Well, since it is an allergy, medicine still currently can't cure them away permanently but may treat them in a way for the reactions to a minimal level. And since I am inclined to natural healing and self-proclaimed thrifty (haha), let's start the list from the least costly and most practical way of treating them to the suggested maintenance as per some doctors prescribed.
1. Clean your room or area where you sleep TO THE DUST

Allergic rhinitis is commonly triggered by dust, pollen, molds, common viruses, etc.. So make sure to check your environment on where your triggers are coming from.. And as per experience, dust can be the sneaky culprit. It's not that I don't clean my room but I tried cleaning my area intensely and you'll be surprised with its benefits. Check and wipe where dust lay and stack up. Make sure also to clean the areas where you seldom do your regular cleaning routine. It will not only make your room or area cleaner but it will lessen your sneezes significantly.
Honestly, at first, I did not make time for this (cleaning) as I did not believe that it plays a big factor. But now, I do appreciate it. The only deciding factor in making this happen is if you'll make time for this so you decide.
2. Drink plenty of water, sip your first cup of coffee OR have your breakfast early

Based on my experience with no medical evidence, my sneezing stops after doing the said actions. I am thinking that it affects clearing my semi-dried throat initially after waking up. It makes you busy as well in a way that it deviates your mind on sneezing which starts the beginning of the awful allergy reaction.
3. Improve your RESISTANCE

Multivitamins

Most Filipinos I know (including me) don't really invest in body resistance even though we know prevention is better than cure. We usually stop taking vitamins as we age unless we only need to due to the circumstances we are in. So if you can afford to buy your daily vitamins, if you can eat vegetables, if you can get adequate sleep, and if you can get your regular exercise, please do so. Don't take them for granted as they are an investment that will benefit you more than helping you with this condition.
4. Buy an AIR HUMIDIFIER

I actually bought an ultrasonic wave air humidifier for a different main reason which is to have a better sleep every night. The fog it creates adds quality to my sleeping therapy which helps me sleep easier and comfortable as it lowers the room temperature as well. Little did I know is that it also helps clean the air around increasing its quality through purifying it. Thus contributing to the factors that prevent us from reacting to this allergy badly.
5. Take your antihistamine DAILY

As this treatment may be the most effective way, it can be the most costly one from this list. Cetirizine is the one I usually buy when sneezing is uncontrollable or is already too much. When they are not treated properly, throats are at risk so I make sure to act as soon as I can. While taking it every single day can be the biggest struggle, its effect is fast and great. If you have the means, feel free to do so as they are prescribed by the doctors.
Reminder: Our bodies react differently so I am just purely sharing what helps me with my current condition right now. If these tips help you in any way, Thank God they work. If they do not, then I suggest you look or ask for some expert advises or visit your family doctor for personal prescriptions.
