Just a few days back in my previous post, i mentioned that because dog food or treats can be pretty expensive in the market, and of course not forgetting the ingredients that your pet may not be able to consume etc, it adds to a lot of hassle to check through the ingredients of the manufactured product at the pet store, comparing prices and comparing the nutritional facts. i know how much of a trouble it can be, because i’ve been doing that quite often!
so now, i’d be sharing with you a simple recipe which i’ve adopted (not originally from me), to prepare a snack which i serve as breakfast for my doggy.
Things you will need for one portion:
1) 2 eggs
2) 172g flour (i’ve used sweet potato flour as my dog cannot take wheat)
3) 1 can of tuna
for the pictures that will follow, i’ve used 2 portions worth of ingredients.
Step 1: Beat the eggs into a bowl
Step 2: Add in the tuna (make sure the tuna pieces are small)
Step 3: Add in the flour bit by bit and mix well
The batter should be smooth and sticky… something like this
Step 4: Pour the batter into a tray
Step 5: Put the tray into the microwave, heat at 100% for 6 minutes
and……….. after its done, transfer the cooked “dough” onto a plate to cool and cut it into bite size pieces for your dog
TADA~~~~~~~~~~!
the end product is slightly sticky and chewy.
Hope your dog enjoys it ^_^
