Sleek Makeup Face Form | Contouring and Blush Palette in Fair 372

Posted on the 03 December 2013 by Genzelkisses

After I was over with my coral blushes obsession, my next stop was hunting for a great bronzer.  I’ve tried good ones but I was looking for that natural contour as the say.  My first choice was Benefit Hoolah (which I’m still planning to buy in the future) as I always recommend it to whoever will ask me what is the best contouring powder to try, and next is Nars Laguna (included in Nars Duo that I’m also eyeing for).  I asked my blogger friend Yette of Yettezkiedoodle and she recommended Sleek bronzer.  They have contour palette but when I saw this trio palette, I decided to get it and alas!  My hunt has been temporarily ended.

I’ve heard a lot of good feedback for Sleek blushes and having their bronzer/contour powder, highlighter, and blush is a great deal!  This is like a sister of Sleek Face Contour Kit (a palette with contouring powder/bronser and highlighter).  Imagine, you get to try three of their products in one palette!  Awesome!  I read reviews for this particular product first before I finally dropped it in my shopping cart.  It also comes with a wide mirror so retouching will never be a problem here.

I love their packaging as well.  It’s simple but elegant and not dust magnet unlike those with Nars packaging.  It’s very handy as well.  Perfect for your everyday kikay kit and definitely will free some space since you have 3 products in one.

Product info can be found at the bottom of the palette.  I got Fair 72.  I believe they have this in Light and Medium.

Closer Look

Bronzer/Contour Powder

Matte finish.  It’s very easy to sweep on the lower part of your cheekbone, side of forehead, nose, and jawline.  The powder is fine and doesn’t make you look like muddy.  It doesn’t have any shimmer at all and the coverage is buildable.  It looks natural on the face and lasts for hours around 5-6 considering that I have oily skin and sweat never leaves me.  This is my go-to contouring powder to date.

Highlighter

Perfect for everyday highlighting.  It gives a naturally diffused glow on the cheeks, forehead, nose bridge, and chin.  Of course, apply it thinly and just add more if you think it’s necessary.  Don’t put too much or else you’ll end up like a disco ball.

Blush

This palette (Fair and Light) comes with Rose Gold blush which is also available in singles and is also raved as a dupe for Nars Orgasm.  I’ve seen Nars Orgasm and for me comparing the two, they are both in peach undertone but Orgasm is sheer and more on pink peachy shade while this one from Sleek- Rose Gold is more on peachy shade and has more shimmer.  As for the quality, it’s highly pigmented!  I believe this can ever surpass some high-end blushes.

CONCERN

✿  I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product but it’s only available via online sellers.

TIP/s and RECOMMENDATION

☑  For the blush, it’s super pigmented and a little goes a long way.  I suggest to use natural hair brush (not synthetic) so you can easily blend it on the cheeks.  Have tried using synthetic brushes and it’s a bit hard to blend.  Or maybe it’s just me?  I don’t know, that’s my experience.

☑  Highlighter and contour powder is pigmented as well so make sure to just dab your brush and build the color.  Remember, it’s easier to build than to erase it.

REPURCHASE?

YES!  I’m planning to try buy their blush palette and pout paints! <3
