The book is beautifully illustrated and tells the much loved children's fairy tale of The Princess and the Pea in a unique way through the use of slide and see boards which keep it interactive and engaging for little ones. The only problem I have is when Zachary and Zoey both want to slide out the same panel at the same time and a battle ensues. My older son, Ben who is 5, also loves helping to read this book to his little brother and sister so it definitely has kid appeal.
If you are looking for some baby and toddler Fairy Tale books then I and the twins can highly recommend this and why not look out for the other Slide and See board books such as Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs and more.
