“My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best as I can.” – Cary Grant
Yesterday, I was greeted by a headache first thing in the morning.Which basically lasted the whole day.Despite the intake of pain medication.Or I probably needed a more potent drug? But yes, it left me confined to bed.And even if I applied ointment to mask the pain…So that I could gratify my craving to blog…Take photos and try to be creative…Or just stay away from sulking inside my bedroom…Well…The throbbing pain just wouldn’t give in.So I had to give up one whole day…Just to nurse my headache…Spend nearly the entire day dreaming…And exploring false realities. When I woke up this morning…The stubborn headache was still there…But it gradually disappeared later during the day.Thank God, it finally did.
This day was one of those ordinary days…Ordinary… yet beautiful.I had my usual morning (and afternoon) coffee.Ate the leftover sushi and maki from yesterday for breakfast.Combed and brushed Dave’s fur.Practiced tweaking some photos.Had a large piece of oatmeal and raisin cookie for my afternoon snack…While watching a replay of The Dog Whisperer at NatGeo.And well…Breathed, breathed, and breathed.Typical, but good.
Thank God, all is well. :-)
