So i admit make up does wonders to a person’s appearance, and that magic wonder has me hooked and addicted to make up. Not so much of having make up on my face 24/7 or hiding my face behind chemicals 24/7, BUT i do have a tendency to buy more product than i actually NEED.
i’m sure all you cosmetics lovers out there face the same problem as me. Okay, maybe it isn’t really a problem, since make up is more of a love and hobby than a chore, but buying all those stuffs does create some issues. Namely? Space. All these small products that could range from $1~$100 actually takes up more space than one can possibly imagine. Am i right?
I’ve been a victim of my own obsession for years now, and i’ve always had this problem with keeping my make up products in place and in a location where its easily accessible and doesn’t clutter or make my room look like a messy den. What i used to do, was to place all these little items in make up pouches, and i end up having three or four filled to the brim make up bags that are always unsightly lying around all over the place. The worse part is, i don’t remember in which pouch i stored what item, and i’ve to dig every one of them just to find the product that i want to apply.
Are you facing the same problem as i did?
Well, i must say after packing my room i managed to get a good space solely dedicated for my make up. It looked something like this.
As you can see, everything looks neater, in one place, easily accessible and all. However, after a few weeks of having this arrangement, i found out that i still had makeup in the pouches at the corner and it was still troublesome and i don’t get a full look of what i have exactly in my collection.
So…… i found the ultimate solution!
Tada!!!!
Clear plastic acrylic drawers for my make up and holders for my brushes! Although i know this isn’t any secret, but to actually put it in this arrangement has allowed me not only to stock take what i actually have, but at the same time have everything placed neatly and according to their uses for quick handling.
I did have some fun packing everything together and sorting through the colours and all.
You can get these lovely and thick sturdy acrylic storage boxes from Muji.
Here are the links to the items from their online store, for the items i’ve used.
