Sunday Verse: John 1:1

This week I have been focusing on my blog a lot and what I where I want the blog to go.  I first started this blog as a journal of my new life with my husband. We live far away so I thought it would be great to show them our life. 
My life is also includes my faith life. I can't separate the two. I wouldn't want to even if I could. Sundays bible verse  I do "spur of the moment." These verses are verse to grow my faith. I want the verses to have meaning to me. 
Today at church was the beginning of a new series called "At The Movies." G and I didn't know what to expect when we got to church. We were caught off guard when we saw a packed parking lot. This was the first church service at 6pm on SUNDAY NIGHTS. It was amazing!! I am so excited to see the weeks to come. The music director gave us a sneak peak on upcoming weeks. 
Today we watched The Book of Eli. The first verse that showed up was John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (NIV)
In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. (NLT)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (NASB)
I can't explain it but this verse hit me! I felt renewed and wanted to rejoice. God was there in the beginning of my life even if I didn't want to accept him. I need to start putting God first in my life. I need to read the Word everyday. I want to post this for everyone to see and help me stay on track. When I start putting God first he can start working in my life more. He can finish what he has planned for me. 
I am so excited to see what he has planned for both my husband and I. Keep checking back to see the changes.
