Just yesterday, i went for my appointment at Allure Secrets for an eyelash extension! Reason being… it really sucks to be an Asian and be born with uber short and thin and frail eyelashes. Okay, who am i to speak for other Asians out there… but, i’m speaking for myself!

Do you see any lashes? Ha! it’s okay to laugh at my lack of them… cause i cant help but agree with you thoroughly.
So anyways, to save myself from the trouble of oh-so-hard-to-remove mascara, i made an appointment with Allure Secrets, and after 1hr 15 mins, i came out looking like this!
i’m in super love heaven! i did single strand extensions.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE EYELASH EXTENSIONS
- it looks natural
- effect is longer and curls more than mascara
- lashes doesnt fall off nor create bald spots unlike when you use glue while putting on falsies
- comfortable, doesnt feel as though you have something stuck on your lash/eyelid (since the lashes are attached to your natural lashes!)
- lasts 3-5 weeks
CONS OF EYELASH EXTENSIONS
- no rubbing of eyes
- 1.5 hour process
- only water based make up remover can be used
- touch up or removal and re-extension needed, so this costs more money
Honestly, i think the PROS are pretty worth the CONS. I only paid $58.00 for the extensions. On average, each eye needs about 50 strands, so a pair would need 100 strands. the wait time can be a bitch, but i was in the comfort of lying down on a cute pink mattress/bed with soothing piano music. i even managed to doze off!
Would definitely definitely definitely, get them re-done! now that i’ve discovered the awesomeness of eyelash extensions, i doubt i will be able to do without them!
