So, I took some time to polish up this blog a bit. I like the look of it and think I will keep it for awhile!
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the time this past weekend to bury my nose in my "Everything Russian" book. However, that will change more in the week. Anyways, one thing that has already caught my attention was last night when I caught a trailer for the new movie "Chernobyl Diaries". Granted, I am FAR from a fan of horror movies (I could only stand to play 15 minutes of "Silent Hill" on the Playstation before I turned it off and hid under a bed); however, with a place as historical and albeit haunted, like Pripyat, I couldn't help but be intrigued. From a girl whose been a fan of shows like "Ghost Hunters" and "Ghost Adventures", I cannot help but wonder what kind of paranormal activity still lingers in ground zero of the nuclear plant...hell, I can't help but wonder what kind of paranormal activity goes on throughout the regions and countries under the former Soviet Union. Chernobyl has been a source of great interest for many and I think this film will attract many who are interested in the subject. I know I for one will see it and I'm curious to see the reviews for it.
