The Sky High offers one of the best dine-in experiences you can get in Delhi NCR. It is in Ansal Plaza Mall, Khel Gaon Marg, New Delhi. It has indoor seating on the third floor and then above that is an open terrace with a good number of tables. Effectively you are on top of Ansal Plaza building with clear sky above your head. then there is a lively atmosphere around that relaxes you, soothes you, and lets you enjoy your food and drinks. Reaching here is a bit of an issue. Probably the mall administration needs to pay attention to it to make life easier for people coming to visit the mall and properties within the mall. There need to be few improvements for the sake of people visiting here for the first time. Because it is on quite a busy road, skipping proper entry might create hiccups.
The first entry to the mall, if you are coming from the ring road, is for drop and pick. Now, this entry is not clearly visible and usually, all people coming in cabs miss this entry. Also, there is no board or signage indicating the same. Mostly, people on vehicles enter from the second entry that goes straight to the basement parking. If you are in your own car, it is fine. But if you are in a cab, it is a trouble. Similarly, the third entry point also takes you to the basement parking. The Sky High is visible from the road itself. Only issue for first comers is you need to know how to reach the restaurant. But once you are in the restaurant, it is like landing in an entirely different world. Service, Food, Quality, Ambiance, atmosphere, music, and hospitality; everything gives a nice experience.
The Sky High Is A Nice Experience of Food On Terrace
There are very few places in Delhi NCR where you can enjoy food on terrace. As a matter of fact, The Sky High is one of those few. So, it is good to experience it. And who knows you might fall in love with it.Now, coming to food. In mocktails and drinks we had Ice Lemon Tea, Peach Treat, and The Sky High. From the Travellin Light we had Cajun Fishy Bites that are fried. Flying Sky High has some marvelous dishes. We had Harrisa Grilled Prawns, Grilled Sole, and Provencal Baked Red Snapper. All the three are good especially the prawns. Sole has small bones that you will have to tackle with. So ensure before you order. If you are ready for a game with those tiny soft bones then it is right to go for it. As you can see there are a number of unique categories.
In Shakahari Vegetarian we had Akhrot aur Subz key Seekh. In fact, these are slightly high on the spicy scale but are excellent in taste. The Indian Road Runners has again some fabulous dishes. For instance Chutney wali whole Baby Pomfret is a must try. From Soupy Tales To Warm You Up, we had Mushroom Cappucino, Roasted Bell Pepper And Tomato, and Badami Murg Ka Shorba. The third one is a real treat. Overall, The Sky High is a nice experience except two points. For such a large terrace, a single person washroom is something miniscule. Especially when there are drinks and beers. But there is ample space to wait outside that small door if pressure is not a bargain. Another issues is hookah delivery on any tables. As a rule food and drinks have to be away from hookah and smoking. But then there are overrules, oversights, etc.
For a change this restaurant has a website. That too quite professional one. Oh yes, we also had Hawaiin Pizza that is fantastic in taste and preparation. Go for the veg one.
