The Square in Hotel Novotel, Vizag is a nice place in many aspects. You must visit to have a grand luxury breakfast. And that too within the reach of your pocket. Not only breakfast, but the lunch and dinner are also equally grand and sumptuous. Hotel Novotel is right on the beach road in Maharani Peta. Reaching here is not at all a problem. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport. In fact, it takes hardly half an hour from the airport to the hotel. A great point about the hotel is that all rooms are sea-facing. Staying here, in fact, is a great experience. The property has 4th rank on Tripadvisor. The moment you enter the lobby, The Square is right next to the lobby/reception area. Select your table as per your comfort. Like, I prefer to grab a table near the live kitchen counter.
The food is fabulous. In addition, you have a wide range to select from. Start with juices. Grab some cheese and dry fruits. You can order parathas from the live kitchen. On my visit, I had three choices – Gobhi, Aloo, or Paneer. I tried all the three. Though they were a bit spicy but good in taste. Dosas and Uttapam are available on another live counter. The fresh Masala Cheese Dosa was awesome. There is a live tea/coffee counter. In fact, filter coffee was so good in taste that I had another one. Cheese Omellete was perfectly yummy. As a matter of fact, every time you don’t need to walk to the live counters. Like, for coffee, tea, dosa, paratha you can tell any of the serving staff roaming around for the purpose. Also to try at The Square are Croissants, Yogurts, groundnut paste, and a variety of other things.

In fact, it was quite an interesting breakfast at The Square. And one of the best ones in Vizag. A grand buffet at a grand place and that too with no pinch on my pocket.
