This weekend was good! Beginning with a wonderful Friday night, just relaxing and watching Designing Women. I had to go to bed early because I had a test early the next morning at CAL (Center for Advanced Learning). It was a placement test to place me in an English class, whether it be the college course of English (Writing 115) or the regular junior English. My results: let's just say that I have a chance to retake the test abd when I take the test, I get better scores. Always do. So, when second semester comes around, I will retake the test. After the test, I went home and watched Designing Women! Again, and again! Over and over. Disc after disc. Pretty soon it got to be 5:00 and I hadn't even cracked open my homework. I finally packed for Grandpa Kirby's, because I hadn't been over in a while. While I was waiting for my mom to pick me up, I finally got out my homework and began working on it. It didn't take as long as I thought, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. I have pictures of some of my completed homework. We went over to my Grandpa Kirby's house, and had a delicious dinner. I wish I took pictures of it, but it was a broccoli and cheese with salsa quesadilla. Oh my goodness! It was so good! After that, mom made apple crisp. It was disgusting, even my mother's words. It was sugarless, no wonder it was gross. Something you are exepcting to be sweet and it's not, it wasn't good at all. We trashed it right away. My mom got the recipe in a hurry, and it called for no sugar or brown sugar at all. I did get pictures of the apple crisp: a diabetic's dream. Bahaha. I then began to blog on tumblr and go on Pinterest and such. I just messed around on my phone, still trying to figure it out. Right before bed, we watched a few episodes of Designing Women and then went to bed. I woke up at 8:00 something and then dad took me home and I began working on my homework right away. I started my speech, and finished it just now. But when I started writing it, I didn't know how to end it. At 2:00, we went to my future aunt's bridal shower. It was so much fun! A Pinterest paradise! So many cute decorations from Pinterest! We drank out of mason jars, and had wonderful food! I had a wonderful time, and I can't wait for the wedding. After the bridal shower, we went home and I worked on homework again, read my book and then finished writing my speech. My dad made a fabulous dinner and This weekend was good. This week will be even better! I am going on a field trip to the John Day fossil beds on Thursday! I am so excited! And then a four day weekend! So I will be going to school for only three days this week! I am so excited! Of course I will do a blog post about the fossil beds and I will take tons of pictures!
