Time Goes By

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 Hello my dear friends. :-) Is it really the weekend again? It still hasn’t sunk in until now. I feel like the past weekend was only yesterday. And oh, it’s June already— Meaning we’re almost halfway through 2012! Oh how time flies! But sometimes I wish I could slow it down. Or that there were more than 24 hours in a day… Because I feel like there is always so much to do… And yet there seems to be so little time. But of course, God absolutely knew what He was doing when He put 24 hours in one day… Hence, 24 hours is enough. How we spend the number of hours we’re given is up to us. Time follows no pace other than its own. It doesn’t wait for anybody. It won’t slow down for anyone. And time lost can never be brought back. That’s why we, humans, need to do our best to catch up with it all the time. The aforementioned truths make me wonder… And ponder… If I have been spending time wisely… Have I been living… Instead of just merely existing? Have I been loving… Giving and forgiving… And not just receiving? Was there enough smiling? And more than just surviving… Have I been learning? Growing? Am I a much better person today than yesterday? Just some of my thoughts for today. I wish you all a great weekend! Take care and God bless. :-)
