Tokyo Cafe

Posted on the 05 October 2012 by Ileodarod @ilevillegas
There was a show I saw in TLC last Tuesday with Anita Kapoor as the host. The episode I watched featured the Philippines and there was this part where they stopped by the SM Mall of Asia. Anita was especially delighted to see an Olympic-size ice skating rink inside the mall. That suddenly reminded me of last summer when I was able to go ice-skating at the same place and I haven't mentioned it in this blog yet!
Tokyo Cafewhoops!
But this post isn't about that because pictures from the said venture aren't worth showing. hahaha! I'd rather show colorful pictures of food instead! I think it's more worth-while.
It wasn't difficult to pick Tokyo Cafe for our lunch. We love Japanese food after all. And they have crepes displayed.
So here are some of our picks from their menu that mostly consisted of fusions of Japanese and Western cooking.
Tokyo Cafe
Chicken and Cheese Roll - P258
I'm not a fan of this much cheese in a dish so this was too heavy for me. My dairy-loving sisters loved this on the other hand.
Tokyo CafeClub House Sandwich - P215
I always love club house sandwiches! And this one did not fail my expectations!
Tokyo Cafeyum ^_^
Tokyo CafeCreamy Ebiko Pasta - P268
This is my favorite!
Tokyo CafeMargherita - P258
Not the sort of pizza that kids would like. But I loved this as the tomatoes balances well with the richness of the cheese.
Tokyo CafeChoco Strawberry - P110
This has two of my favorite things in the world: strawberries and chocolate. But unfortunately, the combination wasn't that remarkable for me.
Tokyo Cafe
Peach Mango Caramel - P95
This on the other hand, I love as I am fond of mango flavored crepes and cakes.

Tokyo Cafe
The meal a was treat by my sister's bf! He probably noticed how exhausted and sore we were after all the ice skating. Oh, and I only fell twice btw! Landed on my butt too!
Tokyo Cafe
But really, if you are in Manila, you should give ice-skating a try.
Later that day, we headed for Enchanted Kingdom
That's it!
Thanks for reading!
