What I will be taking with me to Hong Kong and Japan -

 A post from the past.

Written before I went away:

This holiday will differ from all of my previous holidays, aside from the obvious – this is the first holiday where I am ‘toxic-free’ or at least trying to be.

I’m quite exciting about certain products, for example, a natural mosquito repellent which has sound reviews on Amazon. I’m going to give my honest reviews on these products when I get back and hopefully this can help you if there is anything you’re interested in on this list.

Back to the present:

Incognito Repellent – £7.99

This repellent is liquid gold. I don’t think I got bitten once, unlike my group who were all bitten in Hong Kong & Japan. I really recommend this product even though it is not cheap but try Amazon.

Riemann Suncream Spray – £15.99

Sun creams are loaded with toxic chemicals and I’m not just talking about the common parabens here. I intended to buy a natural sun cream, although they are not cheap! I’m not sure why, but I ended up with this product and as soon as I bought it online I remembered that this can be bought in shops so it’s obviously not completely toxic free but could fair a lot worse. I bought factor 30 and I used most of it up in my first week in Hong Kong. ‘Luckily’ the overcast weather in Japan allowed me to eke this out, but for the price you don’t get much coverage. It did work well though, no burnt shoulders here. I’d probably search around next time, but I’d pay out for the spray & ‘once a day’ feature.

Dead Sea Spa shampoo & serum sachet – £3.99

The shampoo is just another natural shampoo. But the serum! Oh my! I am prepared to pay out for a bottle of the serum. It’s amazing! I can instantly feel it working and after a minute I am able to pull my fingers through my hair without getting caught up in the knots!

Nail stickers and eye-liner assortment (all around £1)

I didn’t get round to trying out the nail stickers but I am planning to use them for my graduation so stay tuned! The eyeliner stickers looked good on but felt like I was trying to achieve triple eyelids so they didn’t stay on for long!

I am working my way through all of the photos taken & hope to have at least a couple of detailed posts on Hong Kong and Japan respectively. If you are planning on visiting these vibrant countries in the future then I hope my posts can be of some use.
