I’ve been wanting to film the unboxing of this box guys but time won’t permit me these days. This week is my graduation week and I’m preparing for it, I hope you understand and will still read my unboxing despite lacking the video. 
This box is kinda late, arrived around end of the month last July which I understand because they probably became too busy due to the release of the first BDJ Box Elite last month (read my unboxing here). If you were able to score an elite box, I think we feel the same that it’s okay to be late for last month’s box but if not, I can imagine the agitation to get your hands on it.
BDJ Box July 2014 – Pure and Simple
For this month, the goal of BDJ Team is to help bellas transition from summer to rainy season. The box contains the basic beauty essentials a girl needs on her daily routine. Before I forget, this box is as big as the elite box. Their normal box is about half of this.
The box is really full and heavy, no wonder why they made a bigger box for it so everything will just be in one box unlike before that they have separate packages in the bag when some items don’t fit in it.
This month’s sticker, “Why fit in when you are born to Stand Out!” Love this quote. It fits really well my current favorite song, Try by Colbie Caillat. Do you like that song too? If you haven’t heard it, ohhh you must now! I’m planning to do a cover when my schedule is lighter.
Now let’s move on to the contents of the box. I grouped them according to their uses like for the hair, face, etc.
Enchanted Eyeshadow Palette in After Midnight Smokey Eyes | P199.00
This long-wear eyeshadow palette contains three shades that allow you to add depth and drama to your eyes. Swipe off the lightest shade as an overall color while using the medium shade to contour, then use the darkest shade to line your eyes.
***I already have this. Got it on their previous box, exact variant. I would love to get the nude palette, the one I’ve seen on other unboxing posts. However, I’m having a 50 50 relationship with this eyeshadow, I’ll review it soon.
Nivea Pure Effect Exfoliating Wipes (20 sheets) | P139.00
Your handy cleansing and exfoliating facial wipes you can take anywhere!
***This is my most favorite item in this box. You know guys how I love to exfoliate my skin 2-3x a week. This is so handy!
Celeteque Back Acne Spray (50ml) | P320.00
Formulated with salicylic acid, which exfoliates the skin and works to reduce blemishes and acne. It also contains gluconolactone, which gently removes the build-ip of dead skin cells, helping to prevent future breakout. Spray after bathing and make sure to let it dry completely.
***Woo perfect. Ever since my schedule at work was changed, I am having pimples on my back *cries*. I got one before from sample room but it has expired already and I haven’t used it! ohh. I should try this soon and let you know if it really works.
Keratin Complex Travel Valet Care Kit (89ml) | P495.00

***Since I’ve been traveling in Manila every now and then, I like this set. The box also feels luxurious because of the velvety texture.

***First time to hear about skin conditioner (I thought we only have ones for the hair, haha), and I would love to try it. If I’ll like it, I might buy a full-size bottle.

Say no to cloth stains and stay protected from sweat and body odor.
***I don’t really use deodorant in everyday basis, only when I go to the gym or if I will commute so I won’t smell stinky, imagine the heat outside when traveling plus the smoke belching cars, ohh even your strongest perfume cannot withstand that.

***The only problem I have with vouchers is the establishments’ location. I’m from the south and traveling is a big issue for me especially if it’s around Quezon City, which means I don’t get to bring my own car because I really hate driving around north area in Metro Manila.
So now here we go, is the box worth it? I computed the prices of the items excluding vouchers and sachets, it’s P1,737 (I hope my computation is correct), and that’s about 3x of your subscription fee (P580.00 / month). Value for money, you still got more than the amount of your sub fee for this months box. It’s late, was it worth the wait? Just like what I told you above, I received the BDJ Box Elite so I didn’t really wait for it to arrive but for those who didn’t subscribe for the elite box, you must be very disappointed with the time of arrival of this box.
Satisfied with the contents? Honestly, I felt so excited when I saw posts of those who already receive their boxes, on Facebook and Instagram, that it’s a big big box for July. The worth of this box is still 3x of the sub fee but I kinda feel that it lacks something? I just cannot point what exactly was it. I think, they should’ve included more makeups? However, I am not as disappointed as the others in this box. Maybe because I like going to the grocery (it’s a therapy for me) and buying stuff like these. What I can suggest is that, I wish they put brands that are not easily available in supermarkets so the “exploring of new brands” is still in the essence in this box. Like for example, Vitress. I love vitress, okay? But I’ve been using it since when? HS? College? Do I make sense?
Anyway, knowing BDJ Box, I’m pretty sure they will make-up to you guys for this month’s box. Just an observation though. If their box is just so-so for a particular month, they will make-up for it the succeeding month. So guys, if you’re subscribed for August, it’s gonna be a better box *crossfingers*
