Hello Bellas! I know that most of you still have the hang-over from the recent successful event of BDJ Box and Belle de Jour Power Planner, the BDJ Fair. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the said event due to sickness. I’ve been pretty here and there that I forgot to take care of my health. Thankful that I’m doing better now so I am here to unbox with you guys last month’s BDJ Box! I know, I’m super late for the unboxing but I still want to share what items I got last month and my thoughts about them, soo let’s go!
BDJ Box for September “Beauty Innovations”
You think it’s an elite box? Nah ah! The box is as big as their elite boxes but subscribed bellas just paid the regular box fee of P580.00 for this. They’ve been really generous the past few months and they are giving their subscribers bigger boxes than usual. Thank you BDJ!
For this month’s theme, Beauty Innovations, the items they picked will be very helpful especially for us girls who are always on the go. These are the newest products from trusted brands to keep up with our schedule plus, they made sure that we can easily purchase any product we fell in love with in beauty stores.

This is what I always practice. I believe that anything in this world, no matter how it may appear, there’s always beauty in it. It has purpose why it exists. This applies to people I meet as well.
Now the exciting part! Digging the box! As always, BDJ has mastered how to make everything fits perfectly in box. It’s like they measured their sizes and arranged like a puzzle. Haha. But seriously, I always liked how they put the products in their monthly boxes.
Hair products:
Dove Intense Repair Daily Hair Vitamin (6ml x 6 capsules) – 2 packs (P75.00 each)

I love taking good care of my hair and these are really helpful to make the hair shinier and healthier. I love the capsules idea. It’s very easy to bring this along with you when you travel.

With 4 variants to choose from, you’re sure to find one that addresses your hair concerns.
As far as I can remember, Creamsilk is the first ever hair conditioner that I used and been using until now (I do alternates with products). It was introduced to me by my mom when I was in high school (yeah, I think that was the time when I started using conditioners). It’s nice to see new products coming out from this brand and I appreciate this daily treatment a lot because what I normally do after shampooing my hair, I apply conditioner then rinse after 2 minutes, then apply hair treatment. With this new daily treatment conditioner, I’ll lessen the time that I spend in the bathroom!
FS (Fanny Serrano) Single Eyeshadow 4g – P150.00
These easy to blend powder shadows from FS are a great way to build up your eyeshadow collection. They come in varying finishes – shimmer, matte, satin, and glitter that you can mix and match to create the look that you want. Their silky textures make it easy to blend on your eyes and also prevents product fallout.
I’ve been hearing a lot of positive reviews about FS eyeshadows and I can’t wait to play with this one. I got an orange/coral shade which I really like! The packaging doesn’t look cheap plus it can easily be depotted.
FS (Fanny Serrano) Gel Liner (5ml) – P299.00
Say goodbye to your pencils and hello to this gel-based eyeliner from FS! It’s soft on the lids and rich in definition, so you can easily define your eyes. It comes in a 5ml elegant glass bottle and also comes with a free brush! It glides on smoothly helping you effortlessly achieve the look you want.
Thankful that I got a brown shade because I already have a black one. Unfortunately with this, I didn’t like the black one that I have. I have super oily lids and it transfers to my upper lids even before it gets all hell oily and it smudges. I hope they’ve improved the formulation of this.
Pond’s Dewy Rose Gel (10g) – P150.00
Dewy, soft skin is now easy to achieve with Pond’s Institute’s newest formulation, Flawless White Dewy Rose Gel. This whitening gel is infused with Rose Lumiere Serum that goes deep into the skin to lighten dark spots and smoothen pores outside giving you the rosy glow you’ve always wanted.
Okay, not gonna lie, I haven’t had any successful relationship with any Pond’s product that I’ve tried so far BUT, I am so excited to try this one because I think my skin reset its overall condition and the products that don’t to seem to work with it before are now becoming its best friends and I hope it goes like that with this new Pond’s whitening gel. I’ll keep you posted!
Beach Hut Clear Spray SPF36 (180ml) – P390,00
Gone are the days of having to spread that sticky, messy sunblock on your skin! Stay longer under the sun without worrying about those harmful rays. It provides better, easier, and even application than your ordinary sunblock lotion. Just spray and go!
I love beach hut products especially their spray on ones because I don’t need to lather them on my skin and get the product everywhere on my hands. I have the one in tin can packaging and I will try this clear spray and see which is better. I just find the former a bit sticky which I hope I won’t be experiencing with the latter.
Jergens Moisture Pack (Daily Moisture) 200ml – P153.00
Infused with moisturizing Silk Proteins and Citrus Extract, this reformulated lotion leaves the skin looking and feeling silky and smooth all day long.
Jergens Daily Moisture (100ml) – P88.00
Be the first to try this newly re-launched body lotion that’s formulated with Hydralucence Blend to go deep beneath skin’s surface to heal dryness at the source.
When my mom was still here in the country, this is our everyday lotion and I still love Jergens so I buy bottles from this brand from time to time to alternate with my other body lotions. I like that it’s very affordable and it really works especially on the moisturizing department. I have severe dry skin and using moisturizer is a must for me. I love their new packaging by the way!
Godiva Cleansing Kit ( Licowhite Whitening Toner) – sample size

These sample sizes are perfect for traveling and since they are skincare products, I appreciate that I get to try them first before I can purchase the full size in case I’ll love them. I’ve tried Godiva products before but I brought them to Australia which I think it’s the climate that made them not to work with my skin so I’m gonna try them and see if they will work this time.
Gift Certificate – FREE Makeover at any PAC Counter (worth 1500)
This is useful when you have to go to an event and doesn’t have the time to do your own makeup or at hire a makeup artist, but you have to go to the nearest branch so it’ll be hassle free. I love their lippies and I’ve heard their foundations are great too!
Here are all the products in the box! This box is a mix of hair and body care and few makeups. I like that I think I will be using everything here. I mean sometimes, there are products in the box that I do share with my friends and relatives especially if I don’t think I will be using them but with this box, everything is a must try since they are the reformulated or new products from my trusted brands. For the computation, excluding the GCs and sample size products, it’s a total of P1,798.00 (let me know if my computation is wrong but I hope it’s not, haha). For a fee of P580.00 and you get these, it’s another win win box from BDJ! Well, I think it’s always more than what you pay for but this time, you can use all of these products for sure.
