My colleagues and I were talking about holidays the other day, yes again with the holidays, I seriously need one badly I think. One of my colleagues is actually going to Dubai for a short break and also to visit her sister who is stationed there as an air stewardess. Lucky.
Dubai has always been one of those places that I want to go but not really want to go as well. Do you get what I mean? I have seen so many amazing photos on the internet and also on tv that I really want to just go there and have a look and marvel at the amazing things that they have done to the country and with these Dubai Flights, it's so tempting to just fly there and see it for myself! BUT then there is the part where some of my friends tell me to stay as far away from the place as possible (for personal reasons, I won't publish them here because that is their own opinion not mine, and they can post it on ther own twitter feed or facebook) . I understand that not every trip that you plan is an amazing one. Some are even disastrous.
So I do not know who or what to believe. Should I just go with my gut and just dive into it with a toddler in tow? Or should I just go on that long overdue honeymoon with M? What would you do? I trust these friends of mine but they may not like the same thing I do. They may not want to do the same things I want to do. *sigh*
Have you been to Dubai? What do you think of it? Have you seen the architectures in Dubai and how much it has grown?AMAZING and CRAZY at the same time. Like WOW.
