What I Learned From The Sky
What I Learned From The Sky
The first picture was taken last Saturday morning…While we were on the road to Manila…Where the car was moving at the speed of light. It felt like a great escape from reality.Well, from my reality.Reality that can sometimes be sickening, if I forget to count my blessings.
The vastness of the sky is my favorite part of nature…The sight of it gives me relief.Allows me to breathe freedom. And I need not go far away to feel its comfort…It’s just right above me.All I need to do is to extend my neck a little…And then this natural wonder is in view. What beautiful blanket surrounds the earth!
But aside from being an awe-inspiring creation…The sky taught me some things about life.
Like how the sky is not always blue as it turns black into the night.Just like life, the sky is not always bright.Sometimes, darkness has to come…Make us scared… cry… feel down. But if only we’ll learn to look beyond…We just might discover that stars are in sight…Signifying hope, signifying light.Nights aren’t really dark if we always light fire in our lives –Fire of hope... love… patience… optimism. And just like how night becomes midnight…And then midnight turns to dawn…Soon there will be sunrise.
And when days come that I feel all alone…Where it seems there is no one by my side…I shall be reminded of a beautiful truth –That we are all under the same sky. That someone, somewhere, is thinking of me…And wishing me well…Even from afar.
