I'm not ready... I don't know if I can do this... These are the thoughts that greet me every morning.
I say my prayers... The negative feelings remain... And I tell God, "I don't think I'm good enough for this."
Backing out would always cross my mind. But I get up and face the day anyway.
I find that sometimes fear and self-doubt are inevitable. But as the minutes pass by, And as each small hurdle is overcome, The fear and self-doubt slowly fade away. The insecurity that holds me back gradually disappear, Replaced by strength I never thought I had.
