Yarn Craft

I found this on pinterest, and put in my "Craft Time" board. I was so excited when my friend, Lindsey, asked if I wanted to do a craft day with her. I was stoked to say the least. My biggest mistake is not having an idea of what I wanted to do. We went to a few different stores, and I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to make until I saw this lovely O.

The next thing I couldn't decide on is what color. We are still in the process of debating on colors for the apartment. We did find a dishtowel in a color that we are currently testing out. I found yarn to match, and mixed in with some gray to match our couch.

We went back to her house to get started on our crafts. I was really nervous and hesitant on where to begin. It wasn't that hard, but the biggest thing to worry about is the corners. My only advice on what worked for me to pull your yarn a little bit ahead then fill in. It gives you a guide to go on.

The first corner was the toughest, and like any project by the end you are pro. The last corner turned out at great.

The hubs was at a baseball game while we were doing our craft day. He got home and I showed him what I accomplished. He loved it. It now sits on the desk right when you enter our apartment. It is a great addition to our apartment. It also feels great to do have a craft day. I can't wait to have more craft days in the future.
