A lot of cosmetic brands these days claim their products to be waterproof, smudgeproof, budgeproof, and all those words stitched to “-proofs” suffix that you can think of! *kidding*. However, only a few live to their promises and I’m so glad to have found this eyeliner pencil from Zoeva Cosmetics. It’s included in my Zoeva Cosmetics Haul that I posted last year. I’ve been using these personally and even included in my pro kit.

Packaging:
Each pencil liners comes in a black box with all the information needed on the label. The liners are about 5 inches long and they have shade indicator on the other end that makes it easier for you to identify and get the color that you need to use. It also has a secure cap to protect the tip. However, I believe they should improve the cap, make it a little bit tighter. It comes off easily even if placed in my pencil liners pouch/case. There was this incident that the cap came off and the tip of the pencil was damaged that I have to sharpen it again.
The pencil
Hands down to these liners with how they glide very smoothly on my lids (upper and lower). Never did I experienced tugging during application. It’s very creamy that you need a few seconds for it to set on your lids. It has micro-shimmers that can be either a pro or a con to you depending on how you will use it. I didn’t mind the shimmers especially when I use it for my brides on their lower lashline.
My most favorite shade is Glance. I use it on my upper lids and also on my lower lashline instead of the common black eyeliner. It’s also perfect for bridal makeup look. As you can see on the swatches, the lighter the shade, the micro shimmers are more visible. You can build the color by layering. These liners are very pigmented, I bet you’ll be fine in just one swipe like the swatches above.
Staying Power
Based from experience, these liners really do stay on until you remove them. If you have the most oiliest lids in the world, they may smudge just a bit but you can make them last longer by using a good eyelid primer. Above photo is the waterproof and scrubbing test where I ran the swatches under pressure running water from our faucet for about a minute and scrubbed them hard to check if they will come off. You will notice the redness of my skin. And for me, these liners passed the test.

Tips
✔Make sure to tighten the cap.
✔Sharp the pencils carefully to avoid wasting the product. The liners are super creamy.
✔Let it set for a few seconds after application.
✔For lower lashline, dry first your lashline with a q-tip (cotton bud) so the eyeliner will really adhere to the surface.
I love these liners. They are affordable for only P375.00 a stick and I’m eyeing on the other shades like Skyline, Nude Perfection, and Rock n’ Roll Bride, can I just collect them all? (talking to my wallet). Zoeva Graphic Eyes Pencil liners live to their promise as waterproof and smudgeproof plus they are also very pigmented and last long.
