I have been planning a surprise for Mr. A’s 30th birthday for months now. Keeping it has secret has been quite a challenge. I can’t tell you how many times my parents or I almost told him.
This Tuesday night it was finally time to reveal his surprise. He knew that we were going on a week trip but I hadn’t told him where yet. Originally, I was going to plan an elaborate unveiling but with the recent snowstorm I had to move our flight from Wednesday morning to Tuesday night at the very last minute. That meant I had 40 minutes between arriving home from work and having to leave for the airport (and I wasn’t finished packing yet). So needless to say, the unveiling became a little less involved.
But I still managed to tape the whole thing. Hope you enjoy!

We will be here in Florida for Spring Training for the Os for the rest of the week. I’m hoping to pop in every night with a fun update. Keep your fingers crossed that we will get to meet Cal tomorrow (he’s here to promote his new book) and perhaps that I get to ogle Chris Davis from afar (just kidding honey
