Can't get it Right

Ten days after being pumped up with 2 bags of IV liquids,
and the day prior to my surgery; trying to smile with "Jot Dog"

It's taken nineteen days to feel somewhat normal after my surgery.  Probably the most "normal" I have felt in months.
Don't assume that my bloating is any less obvious than a pregnant woman. In her eighth month. With twins.
The roundness of my belly only competes with the fullness of my cheeks. But wait - it's less obvious than before my surgery. No joke.
I've tried to camouflage my temporary body by wearing yoga pants, long shirts and necklaces that have seemingly shrunk three inches in length. Overnight.
Fruit smoothes and spinach salads aside, nothing I do, or eat, has helped reduce my bloat to fit into my pre-only-God-knew-what-was-wrong-with-me clothes.
Besides the fact that my doctor has limited my activities to walking, the bloating has -literally- weighed me down to the point of not wanting to do anything other than, well, walk.
So much for the exercise bug that I whole-heartedly embraced for the last two years. (insert confused look).
I'm certainly not perfect. Definitely a mere mortal.

Can't get it Right

Ten days after my surgery - the bloating is starting to "go down"

Through it all, including challenges, curve balls, health scares, and plenty of amazing moments "thrown in" to make it all worth it, I still can't get it right.
Here's to a brighter day and my continued attempts to get it right.  My health, that is!
