CBC planned out an OOTD shoot and this is basically what came of it!It was set during a Sunday so that most would be able to attend. The activity was aimed to sort of familiarize the other members of the CBC (especially those who are interested with starting or trying out OOTD posts in their blogs with doing OOTD shoots, which includes the poses, finding a good location or spot, choosing the right photo filters, and of course, the right outfit obviously, because that is the whole point of having an OOTD. But this is just an experimental phase so we can properly re-tinker and assess what would be included in the actual workshop soon.We all arrived at the meeting place ready to get our groove on, everything was set in place...and then it started raining...hard. At first we thought "Oh well, this will pass in no time, so let's just wait a bit", then after about half an hour of waiting around, with the sun about to set, the rain still hasn't stopped or even calmed down. With the current situation, we had no choice but to shoot indoors instead. The first place we thought of was Coffee Prince cafe because someone in our group mentioned it has nice enough interiors to do a shoot at. So with the issue regarding the location now resolved, the next problem was how to get there because commuting will only mean getting ourselves soaked and that was totally not an option! Fortunately, one of the photographers brought his car which was what we used in getting to the place. Good thing I'm already kind of used to doing jump shots as they had suggested me to do it...on heels! The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that the place was chock-full of people. And that doing a shoot inside was pretty much impossible. So we promptly decided to find another place nearby since the rain has changed into drizzle. Where we ended up with was at the back which happened to be the parking lot as well. It was already a bit dark so we had to hurry up with the shoot. The circumstances may not have been ideal or perfect but we managed to work with what we had because WALANG MAKAKAPIGIL SAM--just kidding! I'm not sure if I should give tips here, but I guess I'll save it up for the actual workshop. So you better keep posted!
Thanks to everyone who came especially to Jeph who encouraged us to make this possible in spite of the challenges that were thrown at us during the whole activity (the rain playing a big big part of it). And thank you as well to Emjae for the amazing photos! He took all of these with patience regardless of all the outtakes. Superb!
Sorry for the flood photos tho! There were actually tons of them and these happen to be the ones I picked, obviously.I'll leave you with this overly-candid shot.
