Today, on this beautiful Friday that the Lord has given us, I offer you a simple phrase to ponder. It’s nothing revolutionary, just a meaningful lens through which to evaluate our lives.
As I read this passage, all I could think was, “Am I living a life worthy of the calling I have received?”
Because following Christ is both that easy and that complex.
I have no concrete answer to that question for you. All I can say is that I work every day to show God that I am truly worthy of His great calling and His son’s great sacrifice.
Some days, I am certainly more worthy than others but what matters to God is that I am always striving to be better than I was the day before.
