Skea White Eggs

10 billion eggs are eaten every year in the UK and most of us are probably familiar with your standard brown egg but did you know that if you had purchased eggs 40 years ago then they would have been pure white?
Tesco is now re-introducing the white-shelled egg to their shelves and they will be available in a 6 pack and supplied by Skea. These are A-class eggs and come from white free range hens and will be priced at £1.48. Apparently white eggs commonly have fewer blood spots...what a lovely thought!
The White Egg is currently available at the following Tesco stores with plans to roll out further in the future
  • Borehamwood
  • Cheetham Hill
  • Watford Xtra
  • Colney Hatch
  • Brent Cross
  • Lea Valley Xtra
  • Prestwich
  • Finchley
  • Barkingside
  • Hove
Are you egg-cited about white eggs or will you just be sticking to brown ones?
