Blame my fear of looking back to my "dated" photos and asking myself "why didn't my friends say anything about my hideous look before I left my house?!
But then I met Milani Cosmetics at the Latina & Latino Lifestyle Bloggers Collective, Los Angeles Conference this spring, and I threw that fear of color out the door.
Milani "Shadow Eyez" is a soft-in-texture, deep-in-color eyeshadow pencil
Not only have I worn color this summer (-gasp-), I have also been experimenting with all the beautiful colors that I was gifted with. I have learned that color doesn't necessarily look age inappropriate, even for a 40+ year old woman, when worn subtlety. This is one of the looks I was brave enough to try with one of my favorite Milani products: Shadow Eyez.
I used Milani's Shadow Eyez in Green Safari on my lids and bottom lashes,
together with Brown Deluxe in the corners of my eyes.
NOTE: Jewelry is Stella & Dot and Ilaments, Dress is from Soma Intimates
I used Milani's Shadow Eyez in Green Safari on my lids and Liquid Eye Liquid-Like Eye Liner in Brown
NOTE: Jewelry is Ilaments, Dress is from Macy's and Crochet Spring Sweater is from Bloomingdales
