The girlfriend's week-and-a-half-long visit has come and gone. It's a week until football season, the fantasy team has been drafted, and today is Labor Day and an easy holiday routine at the casa.

Her visit was fun as always. We always have a good time because we can stay in and chill and be fine, which I very much like, or we can also go out and stay out which can be fun as well. B&J;'s Brewhouse (pictured left) is a great spot to sit, talk and have really good beer. It's definitely our go-to spot. We have our bartender Jessica who slowly but surely gets us buzzed takes care of us, and we can spend hours there without really noticing. That reminds me; Note to self: use that coupon for dinner for 2 for $22 when Pamela comes back next week. We always go for drinks and never use our food coupons. 2 appetizers, share a medium pizza AND dessert? Count us in.
And now back to my easy Monday holiday routine. I found a new channel on my directv last night called "Esquire". We had pizza and snacks while watching an American Ninja Warrior marathon (awesome) and all day today after Pamela left it's been Friday Night Tykes, a reality show about Texas Youth Football. Yup. I'm addicted. I have a feeling Guinness and I will be parked here chillin until I decide to fire up the pit. Happy Labor Day!
