Jack Daniels honey whiskey w/ ginger ale is delicious. (Just make a note of that and thank me later). Sprunger brought this concoction (pictured left) last Sunday Funday and its debut was a huge hit What a great couple of weeks it's been. Sunday Fundays, football, concerts, the world series (even though the Rangers lost), and now cool weather? I must be in heaven. On top of that my patio furniture and fire pit came in. I'm a happy camper. Chillin outside to Tom Petty by the fire. Life is good. It's been so good actually that i haven't had a chance to add to this blog but i'm thinking cool nights by the fire pit will make for a good office space.
Went to Zeigfest last week. Texas country at its best. You really can't go wrong with a pair of pretty girls, some Zeigenbock, and Texas country (thanks for the ticket Liz and Ashley). There was a lot going on that night. Zeigfest, the Jazz Festival, the World Series... so instead of it being crazy packed at Whataburger field it was just right. I saw a shirt i must have and i'm so pissed that i didn't get a picture of it. Actually everybody wanted it. "Imported from Texas" it said. Perfect.
These last couple of days have been great. Cool weather is here and i'm praying it stays for awhile. I was ultra productive today even after going out last night with Syl and Sprunger. We watched game 7 here at my place (aka "The Matrix" because of all the laptops, iPad, Iphone gadgets we have running during the games as we check fantasy stats, facebook updates, and everything else you could imagine and then throw in my Apple TV and the youtube dance party shenanigans that always follow the games, yeah, it's The Matrix). On a side note, Sprunger, if you're reading this you GOTS to find a way to get me that video of all of us dancing to Funky Cold Medina in my living room. hahaha. Good times. Okay, so back to productivity and how i need more of it in my life. I've been in the zone lately. Paid my bills, ran the errands i needed to run, bought the stuff i needed to buy, and now it's sitting by the fire time for a job well done. Hector has a plan for a seafood gumbo night here at the Matrix soon. Cool weather, spicy gumbo by the fire, a few cold ones, music, some senoritas to balance out the mix.. uh yeah. Hector. It's on. The more i think about it the more i realize how perfect an idea it is. Suhweet. And now i'm hungry. Guess that means i'll wrap this up. It's a chill Saturday night after an eventful week. Saving lives manana. There was a huge fire today on Ocean Drive that, had it happened tomorrow i'd have been right in the middle of cuz it was in our territory. We'll see what tomorrow brings. As long as the big one doesn't come from around 7 pm to 1030ish. Gotta see my Cowboys beat the Eagles. On that note, my stomach rumbles and the fire's out. Oh, and coming soon: The Brewsual Suspects Beer Club. Stay tuned.
