Today happens to be one of those day's where the weather is not an indicator of the good news that are bound to sprinkle-in throughout the day.
The first wave of good news was a early morning text from a fellow #llblog sister that confirmed the placement of our first #lallblog print ad in the East LA College Newspaper!

The second came in form of a non-descript email that simply stated "Congratulations You've been Nominated."
Sure.
Before I deleted what I thought to be the usual "request for partnership" or "urgent business relationship" email, I dared to open - and read it:
Hola Revolucionario,
You have been nominated for The Revolucionario Awards! The awards are taking place as part of The Social Revolución - An interactive movement of Latinos using social media as their platform to create and inspire change.
As a nominee, you have the opportunity to win the Revolucionario Award in one of three categories: The New American, The Mobilizer or The Innovator. Awards will be announced soon and will be presented at The Social Revolución Latino Lounge at SXSWi on March 12, 2012.
