I was excited getting home because I knew my new iPhone was coming in that day. I picked up some breakfast, and just as i finished partaking of the spicy deliciousness that were my sausage, egg and jalapeño breakfast tacos my friend Angela texts me.
I told her i had just finished eating but i'd join her anyway cuz I'm a team player like that. While she had her taco i had my Modelo followed with a top shelf margarita on the rocks. Good conversation and a couple of drinks after a good shift at the station. That's how you start your 48 hours off. I was seriously just gonna order sweet tea but she was telling me how good the margaritas were and when the waitress overheard and asked me if I wanted one I couldn't resist. Finished up with her, got home, and got a nap in. Woke up and Siri was on my front door. That thing is the future. It does everything and all you have to do is talk to it. "Set up a business presentation with Eddy tomorrow, lunch." and it's right there on my calendar and ready to remind me when it's time. "Remind me to send off TB's snail mail when I get home tomorrow." Done. Love this thing. And the camera is a huge perk. You can take a simple picture of something hanging on the wall and 5 minutes later after some quick in-phone editing it's a work of art. Right around that time i quit playing with my new toy and went to the Ignite presentation at 7 pm then met up with Angela again at Surf club. Several friends were out there. Live music, $2 Pint Tuesday and good friends. You can't go wrong. Closed the night out next door at Lizardo's.
Wednesday was chill. Woke up, started playing with my phone of course, and then right on cue Siri was reminding me of that business presentation I had set up for the lunch hour. "Thanks, Siri." "Just doing my job, Eric". A friend of mine sent me a text later in the day that made me laugh out loud.
Hahah. Sad, but totally true.
"Yeah, and guess what.. Not only did i get the phone to call me "Night Wolf" from now on but Holly Madison from The Girls Next Door just replied to one of my tweets!".
Yes im a 12 year old. As excited I was playing with the iPhone it was no different playing on the big red ladder truck today going over truck ops at the station. Wouldn't change a thing. ;) It's been a good week and it's only getting better. I have a full day showing the Ignite numbers tomorrow to some strong business prospects. Better rest up. Wish me luck. Nite.
