Grace Kelly wearing Keds
The first time I saw a pair of "Champion" Keds, was in the summer of 1980-sumtin in Guadalajara, Mexico.It was the same summer in which I discovered my aunts 1950's (and 1960's) Vogue Magazines...and read -cover-to-cover-.
Now, mind you, I had actually seen plenty of white canvas Keds in my youth, but never had I seen them paired with an over-sized skirt and worn by the most beautiful woman I had ever seen...Grace Kelly.
From that moment on, I couldn't get enough of Grace Kelly, her life, her style, and the one thing that could bring me closer to her: Keds.
I was, and still am, obsessed with Keds.
I wear them in canvas, leather -which I famously wore to a job interview- (more of that in a later post), and once in a blue moon, in color.
Then I saw these little gems...
Keds by Taylor Swift
Lace! Another one of my obsessions paired with Keds. (insert girly squeals)I couldn't help but upload a photo on Facebook, which quickly got attention from my friends.
I wondered whether or not these sneakers were actually cute-enough to wear outside of the store...then I quickly received the confirmation I needed!
Yet another reason to lust after the entire Taylor Swift for Keds collection.

Now I don't just want the vintage lace pair, I also want the Paw Dot in navy, not to mention the floral!
