My New Cheap Wireless Plan Helps Me Buy New Tech Toys

In a recent blog post I shared that I have been going through many changes, adjustments, and a new-found focus on me. To be focused on "me," I soon realized, I had to cut out what didn't work to add what I wanted.
One of the items that I slashed was my ridiculously high cell phone and replaced it with a much better, and cheaper wireless plan. Although I haven't received my first cell phone bill, I signed-up for the $39.99 + tax Walmart Family Mobile UNLIMITED talk, text and web by TMobile, and have been incredibly happy with the service.

Shortly after signing-up for my new wireless plan, I found out in the easy to manage Walmart Family Mobile account management site, that my hubby and I will save more than $1,000 in one year - which is fun money to play with and buy pretty things...and ya'll know I LOVE to buy pretty things!  

Hubby has been super nice lately and agreed to let me buy "anything I wanted" this month with our combined savings.  (He disagrees and says I just went off and spent the money - HA!)
This month I scored a brand new cell phone case with BIRDS (I LOVE BIRDS!) designed by Jonathan Adler (which I adore to the ninth degree - more to that in a later blog post); and my much-needed ear phones. But not just any ear phones, top-of-the-line PURPLE ear phones!!
Honestly, I kick myself every time I think of how much money I have throwing away paying for an overpriced wireless plan, when the Walmart Family Mobile plan is much (MUCH!) less expensive and superior to the wireless service I had before.
Not only am I more accessible (because my calls don't drop), but the savings (OMG - the SAVINGS!) are a welcome addition (no pun intended).
I can't wait to start buying more of what I want while spending less on my wireless plan.  Seriously, one of the best decisions I have made all year!!
