Productivity and Procrastination
Somewhere between semi-productivity and complete daydreaming is where i'm usually at. Throw in good friends and good conversation, lots of music, and a whole lot more freedom than i give myself credit for and you have the fruition of the master plan i came up with years ago.

Be your own person, set your goals,
and don't let people who aren't in a position you want to be in get in your way.

So far so good.

I think it still surprises me a little bit that after a couple years here at my house mowing my lawn and working on the yard is still fun to me. It's that fuzzy line between procrastination and productivity, you know? I put it off because it's a 'chore', but then i get outside and don't want to come back in because the finished product is worth the work. Thursday was like that. A good day out working on the yard, followed by my patented Guinness Rewards System (GRS). I'd explain the GRS but it's pretty complicated and involves square roots and prime numbers, so just understand that anytime you see a pic of me with Guinness i obviously deserved it for a job well done somewhere along the way. Do you know or love someone who loves Guinness? I do. Every time i look in the mirror. Saturday was heavy on the rewards system.

I spent the day hanging out with Hector, Javier (not pictured, he was in stealth mode) and Hector's sister Mari. Good friends, good times, and bar tabs left open (sorry Pam, Hector will pay you back). I'm pretty sure at the concert that night at Brewster's there was one point where Mari locked arms with me and completely fell asleep on her feet while everyone rocked out to the show. It's aight. After a long, fun night a standing siesta is excusable.
After an easy Super Bowl sunday i spent yesterday at the station saving lives. We were busy, catching all kinds of calls all day long, but the night was chill and that's what matters when you want to be prodctive the next day. Plus we came across some ducks who were obviously 50% duck / 50% honey badger cuz they didn't give a crap about us or the big red fire truck right by them.

Got off work this morning, had breakfast with Zeller, Durrwachter and Salgado, went as a group to the union meeting, and heard our new chief speak. I should probably go to thes more often. (I'll make a note to self). After the union hall I came home, found a check in the mail (thank you Ignite), worked out, payed a bill, and finally just now I got a phone call from my buddy who says to me "Hey what's up? I just got fired. Let's go have a couple drinks later. I'm broke though.. Spot me?".
Lucky for him I'm a team player.
There's no 'I' in 'Eric'.

Oh yeah, and Satan and his child minions run the audio version of Captcha.
May their voices forever haunt your soul.
