This is a dessert that I have been buying a fair bit recently and I can't believe that it has taken me until now to write a review...poor show! Anyway this 2 pack of Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake slices is from Asda and is priced at £2.20.
The cheesecake is decribed as layers of chocolate brownie with creamy cheesecake on a crumbly chocolate biscuit base. It is topped with rich chocolate sauce and dark chocolate drops and each slice contains 386 calories.
Well if you don't like chocolate then you are a bit screwed with this one because this cheesecake really is ridiculously chocolatey. The brownie layer is spot on, it is thick and quite gooey which is refreshing because it's easy to get that part wrong in a brownie cheesecake because where it's chilled it can go a bit hard. The cheesecake is dense, creamy and extremely rich and that sauce on the top is quite frankly heavenly.
Verdict This is probably the most chocolatey cheesecake that I have ever tried. It is ridiculously indulgent and you can't really go wrong for the price.
