Baron PB&J's
I bought this Baron PB&J's bar in Walgreens back in November when I went to Orlando.  I assumed that this was an American chocolate bar as peanut butter and jelly is a combination that just seems typically American to me.  After a bit of research I found out that the Baron brand is actually part of European Chocolate Milano which is a Polish company.
I have never tried the combination of peanut butter and jelly before, I love peanut butter but I would normally only ever mix it with chocolate.  This PB&J's bar is described as "a layer of smooth creamy peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiched between 2 layers of premium milk chocolate".  There is also a  strawberry version available.
I loved the bright, vibrant packaging and the cute little grape and peanut butter characters on the front, I think this is being marketed at children but I am a big kid so these sorts of things appeal to me too.  The packet contained 8 individually wrapped bars at 60 calories each.  Each bar consists of 4 squares with a small diamond logo on them.

The bar smelt of peanut butter and this is the majority of the filling.  The layer of the grape jelly (or jam) was so thin that I could barely see it.  The peanut butter was creamy but disappointing in taste as it was so mild and I also could hardly taste the grape jam either.  The chocolate was what really let this bar down though, it was definitely not what I would call "premium", it tasted bitter and oily and left a horrible after taste and I think this overpowered the filling,
Verdict It is not often that I don't finish chocolate but this really was not to my taste at all which is a shame as peanut butter and jelly in a bar sounded like such a good combo and not something that I have ever come across before.  I would love to know if there are any other decent peanut butter and jelly bars out there?
