I am a big fan of raspberry lemonade, I've reviewed a couple on this blog in the past. Marks and Spencer Raspberry and Lemon soda was sweet and refreshing and my favorite is still Luscombe Drinks Raspberry Lemonade with it's combination of sweetness and tartness at the same time.
I spotted this Belvoir version in Tesco the other day, it comes in a 75cl big bottle for £2.29 or in these 250ml mixer size cans for £1.39.
The list of ingredients is very simple; carbonated spring water, sugar, lemon juice and raspberry juice. It contains 44 calories per 100ml and no preservatives or artificial flavours.
It's a lovely bright pink color which matches the color of the can which really stood out on the drinks shelf. It tasted more of raspberry than lemon and was very sweet but still refreshing.
Verdict
It's not my favorite raspberry lemonade as it lacked the tartness from the lemons which I favour in this sort of drink but despite that I still enjoyed it and would certainly buy it again.
