REVIEW! Border Biscuits Pecan and Maple Syrup Granola Cookies
Posted on the 22 February 2013 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddictDay 5 and the final day of Border Biscuits Week. I have reviewed some fantastic biscuits this week and these Pecan and Maple Syrup Granola Cookies finished off the week nicely.
Pecan and Maple Syrup is not a flavor that I would except to see in the UK, I would except to find these across the pond but this is what excited me and I had a feeling that these biscuits were going to be my favorite which is why I saved them until last. This was another box of 10 biscuits and they are 87 calories each.
They are part of the Oatrageously Tasty range which combines the wholesomeness of slow baked oats with some really lovely sounding flavours; there is a Raspberry, White Chocolate and Pistachio biscuit in this range with I simply MUST try.
These Pecan and Maple Syrup cookies had a lovely earthy smell and I could see some sunflower seeds scattered throughout. They were quite crumbly in texture and nice and oaty. I could taste the maple syrup and the pecans straight away and they were just delicious!
Verdict
These were my favorite biscuits from Border Biscuits and I will certainly be stocking up on these if I see them in the shops. Does the fact that these contain oats mean that I can eat them for breakfast? A big thank you again to Border Biscuits for sending me these to review, I have really enjoyed trying all these lovely biscuits!
