I've been trying a lot of new Cadbury products recently with all the new releases that we've had lately. Dairy Milk is always a favorite of a mine so I was thrilled when one of my lovely readers offered to send me over some of the Irish Dairy Milk bars so a big thank you to @beccasparkles13 for sending them to me.
First up I am sampling the Dairy Milk Tiffin which is delicious Dairy Milk with raisins and biscuits. This 53g bar contains 265 calories and I just love the way it is presented with the gold foil and purple wrapper. I always think that chocolate tastes better wrapped in foil.
The bar is made from 8 squares of chocolate and like the wrapper this just looks so much better than the English version of Dairy Milk. It seems that the Irish are keep in old skool and that's the way I like it!
Rumour has it that Irish Dairy Milk is a slightly different recipe too and I can't help but think that this must be the case because it definitely does taste a bit nicer. Kevs Snack Reviews recently reviewed some of the Irish bars too and he also mentions the nicer chocolate so this definitely makes me think that even though Ireland is so close to us, there must be a difference in the way the chocolate is manufactured. I would love to have this confirmed and know the reason behind it.
Verdict I loved the biscuit and raisin additions to the Dairy Milk, it's a great combination of textures. I really can't fault this bar, I loved it and really do wonder why we don't have this in England! Thanks Becca!
