I promised myself that I wasn't going to buy any Christmas products until at least the 2nd half of November, but I couldn't help myself when it came to the newWinter themed Dairy Milk bars.
Snow Delight is Dairy Milk chocolate with a vanilla filling. I thought that the wrapper was really cute with the snowflakes and the little chunk of chocolate on a sledge. This bar weighs 120g and 3 chunks contains 87 calories.
The vanilla filling was like a more solid version of the filling in the Vanilla Velvet Crispello. Cadbury seems to be trotting this vanilla stuff out quite a bit at the moment which is fine by me as I really enjoyed the flavor and the smooth and creamy texture.
Winter Wonderland looks awesome because instead of the usual rectangular chunks, each piece is shaped like a little Christmas tree! The bar is 100g and 25g contains 133 calories.
I love Cadbury's white chocolate and I am really happy that the Dream Bar is back, although I don't ever seem to see them in the shops. Anyway, I did think that the packet of Winter Wonderland was a bit misleading as it looked like the alternate white trees were completely made from white chocolate but it was actually just a layer on top of milk chocolate. Nevertheless, it was still pretty tasty.
Verdict
Both bars were good and the Winter Wonderland was my favorite based on looks and taste, but I would have still liked more white chocolate involved! In fact I would love it if Cadbury made more white chocolate full stop!
