I have to admit that I have not been feeling very inspired recently and you may have noticed that I haven't been reviewing as many things as I usually do. Well after being poorly with a cold, followed by a sickness bug I did lose a bit of interest for food but I think I am back to normal now and what better thing to get my enthusiasm back than some new Dairy Milk bars!
Regular readers will know that I love Dairy Milk so I am always excited to try new bars and we've been really lucky in recent times with the additions of quite a few interesting varieties with my favourites being Marvellous Creations Cola Pretzel Honeycomb and the limited edition Strawberries and Creme.
I have to admit that I am not familiar with LU biscuits but Ritz are a regular purchase in The Review Addict household. These 2 bars which weigh 35g are not the familiar long Dairy Milk bars but more of a fatter and flatter rectangular shape. They only contain 4 chunks with each one containing 2 (one on each side) mini Ritz or LU biscuits. Mr Review Addict found these bars in Londis but he can't remember how much they were and both contain around 180 calories.

Ritz and LU, although they look very similar, have 1 key difference; Ritz are salty and LU are sweet so Cadbury have tried to cater for everyone's biscuit tastes here. This is not the first time that we've seen biscuits in Dairy Milk, remember the Golden Biscuit Crunch released back in 2012. I haven't seen much of that bar since and I have to admit that it wasn't one of my favourites as I felt that the amount of biscuit distracted from the chocolate.

This time however I feel Cadbury have got it right, in both bars the biscuits compliment the chocolate. I enjoyed both but I especially loved the sweet and salty combination of the Ritz bar.VerdictAnother 2 great new Dairy Milk bars which look fantastic.
