REVIEW! Cadbury With Love Chocolates with Hazelnut Praline
Posted on the 12 February 2013 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddictI've already reviewed a couple of Valentine's products this year; Chocolate Love Hearts from ChokaBlok and the Valentine's Day collection from Mango Mystique. Cadbury's offering is in the form of milk chocolate hearts filled hazelnut praline aka Cadbury With Love.
I picked up this little box of 8 chocolate hearts in Asda for the bargain price of £1. There is a bigger size available but this particular box weighs 48g and you can eat the whole thing to yourself for 270 calories (or of course you could share it with a loved one for half of that).
The box is basically a cardboard sleeve in the standard Cadbury purple. Held within this sleeve is a little purple tray with a pink plastic wrapper, and once peeled off you are presented with 8 cute little chocolate hearts.
I was expecting something similar to those Cadburys Christmas Puds (who remembers those and why do they not make them anymore?) which had little bits of hazelnut in but the inside of these hearts was smooth and the consistency was also more solid than I had anticipated. The hazelnut taste was quite subtle but with the lovely Cadbury's chocolate it was a really nice flavor.
Verdict
I was expecting more of a truffle center in these chocolate hearts and would have preferred a stronger taste of hazelnut, however I did enjoy Cadbury With Love and the little hearts were very more-ish. At just £1 this little box is a fantastic little gift for Valentine's Day or if you are spending it alone then a nice treat to yourself!
